Kelly Ripa Desnuda : Kelly Maria Ripa (New Jersey, United States, October 2, 1970) is an Emmy Award-winning actress, businesswoman and television presenter. She became an actress in the early 1990s and a host in the early 2000s. Since February 2001 she has co-hosted the talk show Live with Regis and Kelly with Regis Philbin. Before that she had participated in the series All My Children , in the role of “Hayley Vaughan Santos”, and Hope & Faith, in the role of “Faith Fairfield”, both belonging to the ABC television network.
Kelly Ripa was born on October 2, 1970 in Camden County, New Jersey, the fruit of the marriage of Esther and Joseph Ripa, a housewife and a bus driver respectively. She attended her elementary education at Berlin Community School, New Jersey. She attended high school at another college, Eastern High School in Voorhees Township, New Jersey. During her years of study, Ripa acted in various school plays. The year of her graduation she participated in the play The Ugly Duckling (The ugly duckling). She was later hired to work as an actress at a local theater and also to dance on the USA Network youth television program Dance Party USA.
Ripa’s acting career began in 1990, when she landed the role of “Hayley Vaughan” on the television serial All My Children. Her performance was praised by television critics. So much so, that in 1993 she received her first nomination for the Daytime Emmy Award in the category of “Best Young Actress in a Television Serial”, an award that she ultimately did not win. In 1999 she was again nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award, but this time in the category of “Best Supporting Actress in a Television Serial”, although she again did not win.
In 2000, Ripa was selected to work alongside Regis Philbin on the Live with Regis program, which is why he changed his name to include hers and was renamed Live with Regis and Kelly, as had previously happened with Kathie Lee. Ripa thus acquired a double job in television since she at the same time continued to act in All My Children. In 2002, she left the television serial to dedicate herself exclusively to the talk show. In that year she was again nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award, but this time in two categories: “Best Supporting Actress in a Television Serial” (for All My Children) and “Best Host of a Talk-Show” (for Live with Regis and Kelly), but did not win either award. In 2003, she voiced her in the animated films Kim Possible: A Sitch in Time and Batman: The Mystery of Batwoman, where she played supporting roles.
